A Holistic Approach to Healing
Grounded in Indigenous knowledge systems and cultural practices, this initiative recognizes that true healing must address the fullscope of lived experience. The program responds to the intergenerationalimpacts of colonial systems including the 60’s Scoop while honouring theresilience and strength of Survivors.
Through a series of workshops and gatherings, the project will support at least 200 participants across multiple provinces. Programming iscentered around key pillars of healing, including:
Cultural ceremonies and well-being practices
On-the-landlearning experiences
Financial literacy and empowerment
Each component is designed to rebuild dignity, strengthenidentity, and support self-determination.

Reclaiming Identity and Building Community At the heart of Full Circle is the reconnection to culture and community. Participants are provided space to engage in traditional practices, learn from Knowledge Keepers, and reconnect with teachings that may have been lost or interrupted.
These experiences foster a renewed sense of belonging regardless of where participants are located while reinforcing cultural pride and personal identity. The project also reflects the importance of knowledge sharing, with participants carrying teachings forward into their families and communities.

Pathways to Economic Empowerment
In addition to cultural and emotional healing, the initiative integrates practical tools for financial literacy and economic stability. Participants have opportunities to learn skills that can support micro-enterprise development, empowering them to create sustainable pathways for themselves and their families.
This combination of cultural grounding and economic empowerment creates a unique and comprehensive model one that supports not only healing, but long-term thriving and prosperity.

A Model for Lasting Impact
Full Circle is more than a program it is a continuation of a movement toward reclaiming identity, strengthening community, and supporting Survivors in defining their own futures. By addressing both the root causes and ongoing impacts of intergenerational trauma, the initiative aligns closely with the mission of the National Sixties Scoop Healing Foundation of Canada: to support healing, wellness, and reconnection for Survivors their families and descendants.
